There once was a man named Job - Job 1:1
Asking why is doubting God. Jesus said that He is with us always (Mt 28:20). If God told us “why,” it would be incomprehensible because His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8). God never tells Job "why.” For Job, God returns to him far more than he lost, but this isn’t a promise to us. We receive our reward when we arrive in heaven.
